These micro-batch cask matured coffees always sell very quickly. The best way to ensure you get your hands on some is to be a subscriber (subs get 1st dibs if they have the correct option selected).
The beans - This time around we've matured a Peruvian Arabica. La Florida - grown in northern Peru this washed Arabica doesn't just taste amazing, it's also organic and comes from a not for profit farm.
People loved the Auchentoshan cask so much that we've aged a new type of bean in Auchentoshan whisky casks.
The whisky - Being West Dunbartonshire folk originally, we grew up in the shadow of the now worldwide famous Auchentoshan distillery. We use the most pungent of casks to age our beans. This whisky smacked of dark cherries, toffee and caramel
For our 10th batch of Nippy Sweety we've used the La Florida arabica. Sustainably cultivated in the Jaen region of northern Peru, famed for its high altitude vistas that are perfect for coffee cultivation, this sweet, jammy coffee makes the perfect bedfellow for the rich but gentle vanilla tones of the auchentoshan 12yr oak cask it spent it's summer in.
To reiterate, our stockists and subscribers get 1st dibs on these so if you want to be 1st to get a bag then the best way is to subscribe to the Pure Roasters Coffee club.
The remainder are pre-sold here on a 1st come, 1st served basis. We will only make 5 casks of this.
